RIDDLE
Posted at 12:04 AM

I wanted a self-formulated riddle for an entry.

So here.

Madali lang. (-: Angela, please don't be a spoiler.  I might loathe you like how I painfully controlled myself not to do before.

How would you know if someone who happens to be in Paranyaque or Las Pinyas is not a true-blooded resident of those cities.  What takes place in these places every 5 minutes?

Clue:  Err-- My looking out of the window helped me in making this. (-:

FOREIGNERS!
Posted at 12:17 AM

Panic.

I saw panic in the blue eyes of the man.

This happened last tuesday, when I was about to meet Angela at the Chateu.  I instantly assumed that the lone man was Canadian because his cap bore the flag and so did the tattoo on his left arm.  Everybody noticed him.  Who would not on a Philippine jeepney?

He was around 25, blonde, clearly a tourist for he would constantly look at what remained of the south coast.  The uniformed girls seating next to me would never stop giggling while awkwardly stealing stares in his direction.  He was a not so usual view in that routine of mine going to school.  I have no idea how he managed to pay his fare.  All I know is that at some point, he already wished to go down.  But he was clueless of what to say to the driver.  Haha!  How I saw him worry!  Hahahahahah!  He began looking at the other passengers especially those who managed to stop the jeepney saying, "Ma para lang," or "Ma, sa tabi nalang," or "Ma, sa may kabila lang po."  How the hell will the daredevil successfully repeat those perfectly Asian-sounding lines?

E di nagpabida ako.  When it was my turn to board off the vehicle, I dramatically and ever so slowly syllabicated, "PA-RA," in a MI-RE tone.  Para naman magaya niya.

I could have sworn I saw an appreciative smile in return.

WEDNESDAY

Angela and I saw two actual Koreans about my age.

I felt extremely down in an instant.

Yeah I know (it's "I know," not "I'm boasting"...) I get numerous compliments (or mockings) from the people around me (even from strangers and from strangers' children) that I look just like a real Korean.  Some I even obliviously allured.

But what was that fcuking siht that I felt?  I wish I had the rights to all the compliments because I was real.

I envy their effortlessly strong identitiy.

__________

Just some updates. haha.
